Hello, I’m Mixi, a tired aging orca. Despite living through the rise and fall of places like Geocities and Angelfire, I never had a personal site. I guess this is me finally claiming my millenial birthright.

Like a lot of us, I’m really unsatisfied feeding my creations into a cookie cutter site so I can watch number go up. This is meant to be my online notebook I can stick stuff into with no expectations.

It’s also a place for me to store notes about art stuff I’ve learned. 3D is my medium of choice. Sometimes I figure out a technique only to wonder how I did it months later. Hopefully someone else can benefit from those notes too.

This site is going to go up piecemeal as I learn how all these systems work. One thing I’d like to eventually add is 3D model viewers on the gallery pages. I may even try to put together a whole 3D gallery environment. That’d be fun both as a design challenge and an exercise in keeping things optimized.
